Wondering if your child’s speech and/or communication skills are where you’d expect them to be developmentally but haven’t known where to start (or been able to receive a screening via your child’s school) to ask questions and assess where things were at?
To help make sure things are on track, Family First Speech Therapy is happy to offer a free screen to assess your child’s current level of speech development.
The goal is to provide you with information on where your child is currently at developmentally, which you can then use to determine the best next steps for you and your child. If interested in recommendations or information about specific services, we can talk through different options, though please note these are not sales calls nor therapy sessions — they are free screens intended for a child who has not yet been screened. (If interested in a second opinion or additional discussion, please contact us.)
Free screens will be held via Zoom and take 20-30 minutes. 10-15 minutes will be spent working through several exercises with your child to assess their current level of speech development; the remaining time will be spent with the parent/guardian to share what was learned and discuss possibilities to help, if needed.
