Having worked extensively within school systems, Kolby founded Family First Speech Therapy to offer families a supportive environment where their children’s communication needs are met with compassion and expertise. She understands the challenges families face in navigating the IEP process and is dedicated to providing guidance and actionable strategies that ease these transitions.
Kolby believes that therapy should be engaging, purposeful, and empowering. She strives to create an environment where children not only make progress but also experience joy and a sense of achievement in their communication. A Personal Note from Kolby
Hello, I’m Kolby! As a speech-language pathologist, COM®, and parenting coach, my passion is helping children develop the communication skills they need to connect with the world around them. Every child has the potential to express themselves meaningfully, and there’s nothing more fulfilling than supporting them as they build confidence and grow in their ability to communicate.
I know how much parents care about their child’s development, and how important it is for you to feel supported every step of the way. That’s why I founded Family First Speech Therapy—to create a welcoming environment where both parents and children feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to advocate for each child, recognizing their individual needs and strengths, and equipping them with the tools they need to thrive.
